Regarding STEM-OPT

Hi all,
I am currently on my STEM-OPT extension period and working from India. I will be travelling to the US by the end of this month. What if my employer fired me before I could travel to the United States? I have my EAD card and i20 letter from the employer as well. actually possess the records from the prior OPT (from the same employer).
Would these affect my entry into the USA?
Any help would be appreciated.

Don't worry! If your employer terminates your employment before your planned travel to the U.S., it won’t directly affect your entry into the country.
