Hi All,
I guess I am in a rather strange situation.
I started my MS in Fall 99 and got OPT in may 2001 before completing my degree in electrical and computer engineering.
I went on to the OPT and got H1B and later didnt complete my MS degree.
In the meantime I moved back from USA to India.
Now I contacted my university to complete my MS degree, and they are willing to admit me. I have done all the coursework, and I probably need to do only a project work to complete my Masters degree which may take only 6 months to complete.
Once I have completed my masters degree, can I apply for OPT again now.
I think my degree may come under STEM, so can I apply for another 17 months from the extension.
Or any other suggestions. Please let me know.
