Hello Attorneys,
This is Santosh. My opt is about to expire on sept 30 2011. I have filed for extension on aug 10 2011 at the Texas office. So far I haven't received any acknowledgement from USCIS, neither the check I have sent has been cashed. I have called USCIS to check the status of my application and learned that they haven't received my application yet. I have delivery confirmation from USPS. After making several calls and escalations on of the tier 2 representative asked me to submit another application. I have done this last weekend and the package has been delivered by FEDEX on tuesday 20th of sept....still no acknowledgement....so called again today...same old response....we did not receive your application. I am little scared as my opt is going to expire in another 8 days and am not sure what to do in this particular situation. I also don't know if I will be out of status after sept 30 2011. I request immihelp firm experts to advise me.
