Taking Jewellery of marriage when going to US

Hi,

We will be travelling to US on 17th of this month. Can you please let me know the amount of gold jewellery that we can take along with us. The amount of jewellery that I am thinking of taking with me is around 200 gm. My wife will be travelling on H4.

You would need to declare that much gold.

Duty rates are around 6 to 7 percent.
