Good morning and hello.
I am planning to travel to the US from BC Canada this winter.
Roughly 7 years ago I was turned away from the US at the port of entry at my local airport.
I was given the option to withdraw my application for entry to the US, so I took it.
The reason being was my girlfriend at the time and I told the agents we were travelling alone. This was a lie, obviously, and very foolish, but as mentioned I believe the officer took pity on me as he offered the opportunity to withdraw my application.
Seven years later, I am trying to discern whether or not I am allowed into the US. How can I determine this? It was never really explained clearly to me. I have 0 conviction, 0 criminal record, 0 interactions with police.
Thank you!
