OCI rule if new passport is taken

Hi,
My understanding is that one is fine to have a OCI sticker in the old passport as long as the person carries both old and new passport with him. I just turned 50 last month. Do I need to follow a different rule? I am travelling to India in less than 2 weeks. Will I have any problem if I just take both of my passports.

Your understanding is correct.
Having checked at many places on the net, I can say that general view is: You don't have to have OCI sticker on your new passport as long as you carry your old passport (the one with OCI sticker) & also OCI card with you.
However, I haven't come across anyone who have already visited India in this situation.
I will be in the same boat in October 09 and will appreciate if you share your experience with me.
