You clearly enjoy views of lakes and water bodies, so here's a humble recommendation: Next time you head down this route, plan to stay out. A lot of bikers stop over for a night of Pawna Lake camping. They light bonfires, make a BBQ, chill out by the lake, and then set off again the next day. Am sure you'll enjoy that, but don't forget to keep your phone safe.
