Re-entry into the UK

hello all, this is my first post and i am in a very big confusion i found thisd place very informative so thought of asking my question here, my problem is ,I made an admission in london for management studies, i got a VISA on 06/10/2010 valid until 17/12/2013, i reached london on 19/10/2010, on the second day i come to know that my father's health is very serious, so i had to come back on 29/10/2010 (only after 10 days), after struggling a lot with life he passed away on 03/jan/2011, my mother was alone here so at that sad time i was not able to go anywhere, so i spoke with the college management for a refund of my money (2650 pounds) but they refused to refund the money and told me they can only differ the admission for a later date but cannot refund, now i want to know can i go back without any problems as i have a valid visa with me, or else there is a time limit to go back, as it almost 5 months.kindly somebody reply me about this, your help will be much appreciated, thanks in advance, bye
