I have arrived on my DV lottery win - now what

What now? They have all my documentation and I am left with my passport with DV1 visa inside.

Can I apply for a SS #? A drivers licence?

I am planning to go back home in a month and return with my family - so this is a fact finding mission really.

What resources are available to get factual information about how much time I have to actually move here and settle?

If you asked for SSN on your Green Card application they re going to send you to the address you wrote in the application. Driver license requirements different state by state.
Since you are a GC holder you can work almost anything so good luck
