Is filing an asylum with only I-589 something wrong ?
I have chose a non-profit law firm to file my asylum case, their website say that they have been in Immigration consulting for more than 35 years.
they asked for about $1000 on installments.
the lawyer took a look at my case and after about 2-3 weeks accepted it. but when filing the case the lawyer only attached the I-589 form with some other documents showing that they represent me, and some personal documents like IDs birth certificates,,,etc
they didn't attach any documents that prove my country situation and my situation and why I can'y come back.
we only mentioned my situation in one of the fields on I-589, and the lawyer said that they will show other documents on the interview.
my question is: do you think that this was a wrong move and it may cause my case to be refused.
