US Business Visa for BSc graduate

Hello All,

I have completed my BSc in IT in a distance education from a university in India.
I got into 2nd year of BSc with a lateral entry as I had completed my 3 year Diploma In Instrumentation and had 3+years of work experience.
I totally have 15 years of education.
Currently I have 9+ years of IT experience.
My question is am in eligible for a US B1 visa with BSc in distance education and 9+ years of IT experience.

B1 has no requirement for specific education or no. of yrs of work experience.

For example, even if you are 12 th pass but running a very good business , you can still
get a B1.


That said, your position/title in the company should match the B1 purpose
of visit.
They usually ask the details of your duty in India and match it with business
you will do in US.
