When you enter US on B1, the Officer will ask you the purpose and duration, and if he/she is convinced might even give you I-94 for 6 Months. Technically you can stay as long as the I-94 allows you to stay. But you should understand that B1 is for business purposes only and if you are doing any work then it is not allowed. Sometimes, during subsequent visa interviews/entries, the Officers might think that you were actually working on B1 as normally no training/meeting last for Many months and may think you were misusing the B1 visa. In such circumstances its better to avoid long B1 stays. In fact because of this reason many companies have started reducing B1 stay to 30-45 Days only.Originally posted by phani.dingari View Post
