US Shutdown impact on B1?

Do you think the current US shut down will have any impact on B1 Visas?

I am about to schedule an appointment for B1 (15 days visit). Is it advisable to wait for some time before taking an appointment under this situation?

The State Department has announced that visa issuance is to go ahead as normal for the most part. Check the website of the post where you have your appointment, or contact them if there isn't an announcement on their website.
