Got Business visa to Canada. Can I travel to USA from CANADA?

I am in Canada for business purpose. Is it possible that i can apply for visa to visit US for short term purpose?

yes you can but they will ask you why you did not apply in India before leaving for canada?

If you can explain some good reason why you planned for US after reaching canada and you can show good ties to India like strong income , business
they may give it to you.
