Query on B1 Visa on old Passport and Signature Change

My old passport name is on my maiden name and I have my valid US B1 visa on this passport.

However , my passport expired and during renewal , I changed the name to my married name. So, I am expecting my new passport with my married name.



There is a slight concern in my husband’s name in the marriage certificate. The name has “kumar” i.e. kamalkumar. I do have a name change affidavit of my husband.



So, the questions are :

· when I travel to US on B1 visa that is valid on my old passport , would it be sufficient , if I carry the marriage certificate and the name change (husband’s name) affidavit , or I need any other documents (newpaper advertisements or any other requirements) .

· Also, there is a signature change on my old passport and new passport , would it create any problem with my visa and travel . Does the signature on the passport has any significance related to travel ?

Since you have multiple errors/ mismatches, it's better to carry all supportive documents, which available with you, along with old and new passports.

Even I have a similar issue with name and signature in old passport and VISA. Let us know your experience on travelling with different name and signature in old and new passport / Visa.
