  • Applying for B1/B2 with an arrest on the record but no conviction.

    Hi,
I am trying to applying for B1/B2 but I have an arrest on my record but was never convicted and was cleared by the court. So the question is how good are my chances if I say yes to the question "have you ever been arrested or convicted..." in the security and background section to obtain a visa. I am a successful doctor in pakistan and wanted to attend a conference in usa. what are the recommended steps I should take to maximize getting approved for the visa?
Also, since there was no conviction, if I say no and just bring court decision to the interview, can that work?
    your help is greatly appreciated.

Sorry for hijacking your thread, I am new and could not find the way to post a thread

I am a twenty- two year old guy from Belgium who would like to relocate to the U.S.A. I have a bachelors degree in Law from the free university of Brussels. What are my options besides a working visa or a green card lottery?

    Thanks in advance!
