  • Visa interview help: Mom has a poor eyesight

    Hello:

My mom will go to US for my graduation ceremony. But she has a poor eyesight...she can't see things clearly out of 5 meters.
I am worried about her visa interview.
She is not a disabled people.

Is there anyway that I can ask for a permission to let my Dad go into the embassy to assistant her: find the route, read the sign....etc.

Anyone knows any information, plz let me know!
    Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You may have your father accompany her till the consulate & ask them mentioning the situation - they may allow your father or may be able to arrange some internal help for your mother.

I've seen multiple cases where a relative is allowed for persons with difficulty with English - provided the relative holds a US visa.
