  • My Experiences

    Hello,

I had a interview for B1/B2 VISA. Stood in the Queue for over 2 hours before my turn for the interview. I was very nervous and had practice my answers the previous night.
I had mentioned that My sister is a US Citizen in the Application. My friends scolded my that this will effect my chances.
I am Single and Sister is a US Citizen & all her family being citizens of USA. Therefore my chances were very low and i had to convince the VISA office and this made be tensed up
    and was very nervous.

    These are the questions:

    VO: Hi
Me: nervous smile, i managed to say Hi

VO: What is the purpose of the Vist?
Me: I am going there for project discussions with my customer

    VO: Where are you working:
    Me: YYYY - My company

VO: How many years of experience you have
    Me: 10 years

VO: How long have been you been working in current company?
    Me: 8 Years

VO: What is your roles and reponsibility
Me: I told them my designation

VO: Are you going to your client location or your companys office in the US
    Me: Client Location

VO: How long you will be staying
    Me: 2 weeks

VO: When are you planning to go
    Me: July 5th

VO: When will you be back?
    Me: July 20th

    VO: who is your client
    Me: <client name>

    VO: Heard it wrongly
Me: I spelt the clients name?
Me: Give me a second, Let me show you the invite letter

    VO: Not needed, VISA approved

    Tip:
    1. Be natural, DON'T over prepare. tell them the truth.
    2. If you are experienced, that's a plus
    3. VO is just a human being like you and not a Hitler behind the counter - Be natural, speak the truth.
