B1 Visa Help

Hello All

I need a help regarding B1 Visa.
I own a small software company in India. I am planning to visit US for business meetings. Do i need any specific invitation letter or being a business owner i can travel with out it.
I read the forum but it says all about B1 for employees.

I would appreciate if somebody could clarify this for me.
