B1 VISA got rejected without reason

Hi,

I went to embassy yesterday for interview. here is my Q/A.

1.What is the purpose of your visit?
Answer: Going to attend business meeting with client for requirement gathering and analysis of project.

2.How long ll you stay?
Answer:15 days ..

3. Who is your current employer?
Answer: YYYY Software .

4.Have you travelled before to US?
No

5.How long you have been working with employer?
Answer: its been 3 months.

5.Are you married?
Answer :Yes

Thats it .You are not eligible to get the VISA please try next time.He didn’t gave me any form and reason of denial. How can I check my status of rejection and can I reapply later?

You can reapply but chances are slim IMO. As getting a H-1B visa has become harder and more expensive lot of companies are trying to send people on B1 visa to save money and avoid paying taxes. US consulates know about this misuse very well so they reject someone with your profile that has joined a company only 3 months back and want to go to US for 'Requirements gathering". Nowadays the bar is pretty high to get a B1 more so for software guys.

I wish you could have attended intent filling sessions which might have helped you to get through these easy questions but prepared answers.

Hi Anjali,

yes you can re apply again. The most important thing that went wrong for you is the fact that you have worked only for three months with this company that is sending you to USA. Does the company not have any senior employee ..it pretty much means that either you got hired at a very high post or your company is a small company...
