Hi All,
My B1 visa was rejected (without mentioning reasons) one week ago. They have just handed me over the 214(b) paper.
I have all the required documents as mentioned in the application visa confirmation page. But she wouldn't even look at any paper.
Me: Goodmorning officer.
VO: Goodmorning, passport please.
Me: here it is, handed over with a smile.
VO: took few moments to check. Then asked about my purpose of going to US?
ME: I am going for a medical course training.
VO: Where are you going to stay in US and for how long?
ME: I am going to (city, state), specified the dates only (didn't mention total/full days of depart and return)
VO: anyone traveling with you to US?
ME: No, just me.
VO: where do you work (company name)
ME: Answered (clinic name)
VO: how long you've been working with your current company?
ME: one year
VO: what is your designation?
ME: mentioned my position in the company
VO: What is your salary?
ME: Answered/Monthly
VO: Who is paying for your trip?
ME: my employer (she has asked to submit the paper but she didn't even look at it)
VO: Do you have salary certificate or bank statement?
ME: No, I dont have it (as my employer is paying for my travel expenses)
VO: your place of birth
ME: I am born in UAE living with my parents (assumed she has looked into my residence visa and saw my father sponsorship)
VO: Have you ever been into different country?
ME: yes, (mentioned other countries I visited).
VO: For how long?
ME: mentioned approximate dates, stated the reason of my visit.
VO: Are you married?
ME: no, I am single.
That's all..
VO: Sorry, we cannot approve your visa at this time, try and re-apply next time and handed me back my passport.
Me: May I know that are the reasons?
she said please check the form 214(b) I gave you and try to apply again if you think you are eligible to apply again for the visa.
I believe I have strong tries with UAE, as my company provided me with all paper evidence that they are paying for the costs of my trip. But the officer wouldn't even look at it as her eyes was only in her monitor.
I was confident during the interview answering very short and simple.
Can someone suggest or mention his/her opinion what went wrong? what was the problem in my application?
is the problem in my duration experience in my current company? or is that i didn't provide them with bank statement?
Any help or answer from you guys would be of a much great help and would make me ready for my next appointment interview.
