my b1/b2 visa was reject in chennai when can i reapply for successful visa approval

hi, my b1 visa for US for 6 weeks got reject in Chennai. they asked:
1. purpose of visit? i said business meeting with top management of client
2. what business meeting? meeting with different team member and do white board exercise and prepare project plan and come back to india to work on it.
3. What work U do? i am software developer, develop software for company and maintain it.

they gave section 214(b) and rejected.

1. what went wrong? can any one please tell me.
2. When can i reapply? so that this time i want visa approval.
3. what is the best answer for questions like what business meeting in US?

Any one please guide me. i am confused.

All of your answers clearly seems to be "cooked" answers, if that's what you've said during the interview it was to be rejected for sure.

What does an software developer has to do by meeting "top management" ? A project manager does makes sense.
