    Please, help!
I am a current higher degree student in the U.k and an African. I obtained a B1/B2 visa (with expiry date of 07-Dec-2007, i.e a one year validity period). However at the port of entry in the U.S. the date affixed on my I-94 form is 14-June-2007. Suppose I am to attend a conference in the U.S in Summer, say July or August, will I still be allowed to enter the U.S given that this date will be beyond the June 14, 2007 as stated on the I-94 form on my passport.
    Thanks for you advice.

You will have to leave before the date on your current I-94 or apply for an extension. If you leave, you deposit this I94 at the airport, you reenter in July august and they will give you a new I94 with a new date.

But all depends on your purpose now. If you stay till June and reenter
in July ; they may quiz you on reentering too quickly.
If you leave early like in feb and then reenter in July, aug, it will be ok.
