Hi

My H1b processing is under progress. I was issued 221 g and am still to reply on it. My new employer (my h1b filer, whom i will join after H1B approval). My current employer wants me to go to US for training on B1. Is it safe to apply for B1 VISA while my H1B is tsill iunder progress.

No problem, you can go ahead for the B1 visa.

Both are different category of visas.
