Information required- Can I go on business trip on B1visa when my H1 is in approved s

Hi,
I am Vijay and I have an approved H1 Visa (approved on 1st Oct, 2007) and also I do have a valid B1 visa.

Due to some business requirements I have to travel to US starting from 03-Nov-2007 to 15-Jan-2008. Kindly advice whether I can travel to US during this period on B1 when the status of H1 is approved?
I would like to go for H1 stamping after coming back from my business trip.

But I would like to know, Have you got the B1 visa stamped, If got when did you applied for it.

I am also running out of same situation, I am also holding the approved H1-b petition, and I planned to go for stamping in Nov. But my present company told to apply for B1. plz help when did you apply for B1. can I apply now.

Your approved H1 petition is just a piece of paper, unless you obtained your visa in your pp. If you go for H1 visa stamping "most" of the cases your valid B visa may be cancelled, before issuing H1.

Now you can use your B visa , as if you do not have anything with you.
