Need help on I-94

Hi,

I came to US on Aug 19th 2007 on B1 Visa.The date written on my I-94 is confusing.I am not sure whether it is Nov 11th or Nov 17th 2007.
I will be leaving on Nov 16th 2007.

Is there anyway to validate the date on I-94.

Pl. help me out.

You could file for a replacement I-94. But that will cost money and lots of time, which you do not have.

Is there a stamp in your passport too? did you tell the Immigration Officer who inspected you when you wanted to return home? if so, then he probably honored your request and put it for Nov 17th, if you did not tell him I would think you are better off leaving on Nov 10th.

Thanks for the reply.

The officer had asked me for the return date and I showed him the return flight tickets e-copy.

There is no date in the stamp put on passport.
He has just written the date in ink on I-94.

Then if he saw the ticket, I would assume he gave you until the 17th. One day extra (just in case of a cancelled ticket).
