My Company Is Sending Me To US ON B1 Visa, the Visa Is For 10yrs
But After COMING To US And Staying For Few Months Can I Change My Employer/company?

  • #2
The B1 visa is a visitor visa for business reasons... it is not intended for you to STAY in the USA, you will be given a maximun stay of 6 months and after that you MUST return home.

However, the visa was issued to you, not to your company (that is a common misconception). Therefore is for you to use, and your company can not revoke it or demand you to use it only for "their business".

So yes, you can change employers if you want, but I do hope you are not thinking of looking for a job in the USA with a B1 visa, that is not what this visa is for.
