Waiting period

What is the waiting period for the people who got twice rejection in last 12 months for business visa? When I check, I'm getting 1st Feb 2008 date for the next interview but when I don't select Twice Rejection in the form, I get all Jan 2008 dates. Is there any waiting period?

No. But there is a "priority".

People who have not been rejected twice, or are going for the 1st time, have a higher priority than people who have been rejected multiple times.

So, do not lie and take your appointment when it is due.

You should also make the chances needed, or you are looking at another rejection.

I'm not talking about telling a lie but I just wanted to check what happens if I don't select as I'd heard that there's no waiting period for Business Visa (Just the way we learn things, right??).

Hi Mr. Venket,

Though there is no wait period as such for the B1 visa, it is advisable to enhance in your case from the previous time of visa interview. Very little time gap between the interviews will not look genuine if you say change in your case/status.

So, the Consulate regulates the visa interviews of the people who got refused visa recently, as they did not convince the Visa officer during their previous interviews.

Hence the preference to those people, who did not have any previous refusals in the recent time.


By the way, if did not disclose your previous refusals when making your visa application form, your may not be interviewed on the sceduled date and your HDFC receipt may be deactivated for 3 months (That is when the VO is in good mind). Apart from that you may also be giving one more reason for visa refusal this time.
