Can I extend the B1 or tranffer it to H1-B?

I'm presently in US on B1 Visa and it will expire on 16th april. Can i get visa extended for 3 months? what are the procedures for that? If i return to my home country when can i come again? is there any duration? My visa is 10yrs Multiple entry.

Can i obtain H1-B from US itself or should i need to go to my home country?

If you have a valid reason for the extension then file form I-539.

As a visitor, you need to spend more time in your home country than in the USA, so you can not spend 6 months in the USA and go back home for 1 week and come back to the USA for another 6 months.

What are you doing in the USA currently?

You need to apply for H1B from your home country.
