Need Help on B1 Visa

Hi All

I got a job offer from US , everything is oke but the issue i have only B1 visa now and H1b i cant apply or company cant also coz April first is the dat for applying H1 b i think is there any possibility to convert B1 visa to H1b ??
if is there then what are the formalities , some one can help me plz

It is not possible to convert to H1b if you enter on B1 for 90 days and after that, it is possible only if H1b quota is available. For FY 2009, it is already full and you have no other option.

If it is a higher education institute or a research institute, they may qualify for a cap exempt H1b.
