B1 Visa taking too long.

I have applied for a B1 visa, scientific in nature (i.e visiting scientific institute). It has been already about 90 days and i haven't heard anything from Embassy and status is still pending. Is it normal? what is the usual wait time for such visas?

Please help me with this info!!!

Pending on what? 221g? what did the VO say at the end of the interview? provide more information.

Could be on the TAL list and needed clearance from DoS.

They asked me to submit US Visa Questionnaire along with supported documents. The Questionnaire included the questions like:
1. Describe your research work
2. Detailed statement for purpose of visit.
3. Which organizations and facilities will you have access.
4. describe applications of your work/research.
5. Does the institute do for US govt. whether or not classified?
6. who is funding.
7. trip itinerary.
8. references etc.

what would be usual time for TAL list?

After a long wait. My visa status on "Administrative Processing system" has changed to "PROCESSED" from "PENDING".

Does this mean my visa is approved or is it just my application has been processed and I will have to call (or receive a call) to find out if visa has been approved or denied.

Please help. I don't think I can call them until Monday (don't know if they are open on Saturdays). I am bit excited but not sure if i should be yet.
