Most Complicated UK Visa Issue
I am hoping that someone can help. I had a HSMP Visa from March 2007. Prior to expiry in March 2009, I requested extension. The extension was denied and I started the appeals process, during which I was able to work. I won the appeal in June 2009 and my solicitor found that the Home Office did not challenge the decision. While waiting for my extension stamp (I think this is the case or some notification from the Home Office to update my passport) I left the country and was denied re-entry. Now I am in the USA, and getting conflicting information about my next steps--specifically can I still extend my current Visa that was approved, do I need to start a new submission OR can I somehow gain entry to the UK to continue to sort it out while living in the UK (I live and work for a UK company). I would appreciate any insight anyone has on this matter and thanks.
