Passport Delay After B1 Visa approved

Hi

I got my interview done on 25 Aug 2009 , Iam still waiting for my passport to get delivered from Chennai Consulate.

VFS did not recieve my passport as of now.

Consulate says it is waiting for printing .

I dont understand why it is waiting for printing for such long time.

How can i expediate to get my passport ?

Same here.. Please let me know what happened?

I applied for my wife's B1/B2 VISA on 16th Feb 2010 and still waiting for VISA and still no updates from Consulate or VFS....

I wonder why its taking time.. I was told "Stamping Issue", "Printing Issue", "Some Internal process taking time", "havnt received orders from US" etc etc..
