Urgent going for B1 interview next week

Hi,

Does it make any concern if you have your immediate relative already in US What if I do not mention this in DS-160 I suppose the purpose B1 is business visit only, having relative can make impression that the purpose of visit could be different

You must tell the truth.

As long as you have strong ties to the home country, having a relative in the US is not a problem.

However, if you lie on the application and you are caught (which, most likely, you will be), it will be a much bigger problem for you.
