  • Independent Consultant - Recently Registered Company - Fully Sponsored Trip

    Hi,

I have been consulting for the last 1 year 4 months as an independent consultant.
I have a client agreement & money hitting my account as per agreement.
About a month ago I registered a company and DS160 has the mention of this company.

My trip is fully sponsored by the company which is organising the conference (purpose of visit).
I have invite letter, flight tickets, hotel reservation, event ticket.

Will my case be weak because of the newly registered entity?
How can I make this case strong?

Thanks for the help, this forum has been quite helpful!

what kind of consultancy you provide? if it is IT or any other which is a concern for US like nuclear technology, security related things or bio technology, then u could be in trouble.

You are good to go, just ensure to carry as many supporting documents as possible - mostly VO won't ask for any document, but you should be ready to prove anything.
