I 94 Stamp

My I-94 and Pass port have identical markings as follows.
The stamp says Admitted
New
Class B1
Until "VIOPD"
and no date of departure.
What does this mean.
I do have an old passport which is expired and have a Visa stamped which is valid for few more years. I have a new passport which is valid for another 9 years. I am from India and travelled to US.
Shall be thankful if any one can tell me what should I do.

Are you sure it is "VIOPD" and not "VIOPP"?

VIOPP means Visa In Other PassPort. If you used another passport to enter - with your visa in the old passport, then it refers to info in that.

As far as I know, I don't think you need to worry - but to be sure just call Immigration/Consulate hotline to clarify. Hope this helps
