B1 visa within a month

Hello everyone,,
I want to bring in my friend for a business meeting. He wants to come with his wife, who is also his business partner, and a son who just joined college (still a minor).https://jpy.mconvert.net/usd/3000

Currently the waittimes for B1 seems to be 14 days and for B2 it is 15 days. Will the process complete within a month to get a visa so he can come here within 45 days ?

You just need to prove that you & your friend both owns a business which involve international relation & hence he would need to visit USA & have discussion with you. VO can also ask, why that discussion cannot be done over phone or video conference. Also prove that his wife is a stack holder in his business & would be equally needed to take business decisions. If not, better to have all of them apply for tourist visa - it would be easier for them.

Kids below 14 yrs of age do not need to attend the interview & parents (if they are approved) can submit kids passport along with theirs for the visa stamping.

Wait time varies from place to place, so check for your friends local embassy for what is the wait time there for scheduling an interview. If everything goes well, you can collect the passport back from Embassy same day evening or at the max next day. Even if it is sent over mail, it will be max a week. If things goes to admin processing, it can take months (no one can suggest a wait time on AP).
