Job Interview in USA

I live in India, and I am in the process of getting hired by a US company. They want me to come to the US for my final interview.

• Are you allowed to travel to the US for an employment interview?

• What kind of a Visa do you apply for this purpose?

• What kind of supporting documents are needed for this?

Since this company is big global company and has offices all over.

• If I get a letter of invitation from the company that states that they would like me to come to USA (head office) for an interview for considering me for job opportunities in Asia or Europe?

• Will the US embassy be fine with that?
