VISA Rejected and reapplying from diffrent company

My VISA has been rejected on JuLy 1st 2010 with my previous compnay.

I changed my company and my new company is asking me to apply for B1 visa.

I have some doubt here. please help me to understand it.

1. Do I need to inform to my current compnay that my VISA has been rejected once?
I need to fill one form to get the HDFC receipt, in that one field is asking to provide when and why VISA rejected.
will it effect anything if I donot provide this information to my company.

2. My visa was rejected under section 214(B) in july when I applied with my company. Now I changed my company but just after 1 month can i apply for the B1 visa.

3.if my CTC is between 6-7, May US consulate reject my visa based on CTC
