B1 in lieu of H1B

Hi All,

I currently have B1 visa. Now my company is planning to process B1 in lieu of H1B visa for me. Its really confusing as I see that consulate has mentioned "Current holders of B1/B2 visas may already use this provision without seeking another visa"

Do I need to process visa again.. has anyone come across similar situation.. please provide inputs..
