B1 Re-entry Permit Question

HI sir/madam

I'm mailing regarding my B1 visa status. i got 3 month multiple entry visa expiring on september 23 2010 ( for usmle step 2 cs exam). and the date stamped after arriving USA is from July till January 2011 ( I-94).
Do i have to go back to india and apply for visa again to attend an interview in November. Can you please guide me in this
