Dependent Visa to spouse on B1-No U.S. Bank Accounts

Hi ,

I am in US with a B1 Visa with my Company to attend training sessions where the I-94 is valid for six months. I want to get my spouse on a Visitor visa from India. She is not working there.

As I am here on B1 I don’t have any Bank Account in US , so if my spouse attend the Consulate what type of Bank Balance should I show and how much in INR. Please suggest.

You will have to somehow show that you have enough money to take care of her expenses while she is in the U.S. There is no specified amount, but something like $5,000 would be fine.
