B1 to H1B

Hello All,

In my last business visit to US, My sponsoring company had filed for H1B with Change to Status petition. After I returned back to India, I got my H1b and Change of status approved(I797C).

Is it now possible to enter US on B1 and then notify consulate on H1b COS.

No. You should go for H1 stamping instead.
