I am new to this forum. Please help me with this query if any of you have come across this scenario.
My parents recently went to US Embassy for B1/B2 visa. My Dad had B1 visa from past 10 years. His visa was getting expired so he has applied a new Business visa which is sponsored by his company. In the past he has frequently travelled to US. My Mom has never travelled to US with my Dad in past 10 years. This time my Dad applied her tourist B2 visa along with his B1 visa application.
The officer at the embassy did not ask them any question. He returned them their passports and said they will be called later. But my parents have not heard back from the Embassy.
Does this mean their visa is rejected? Or if they had to reject the visa they would have told at that time itself? Please share your opinions on why they would have returned them the passports without asking anything?
