Hello!
I have a B1/B2 visa, i have been coming to US for last 8 years regularly 3-4 times a year without any problems. I am planning to start my own company and to register a corporation or even to do a DBA i need to apply for a ITIN. The IRS is willing to give me a ITIN if i prove them that I intend to start a corporation here. But my question is will this affect my visa ? Is it allowed for a B1/B2 visa holder to start a business ? I am not gaining employment in US, i am just starting a business here which will be a outsourcing company that will take contracts in US and accept payments in US but everything will be done in India. Any suggestions will be helpful!
