B1/B2 Rejected

I have visited US consulate Mumbai on 22nd for B1/ B2 visa.

Following question ask.
Why you visit.
ZZZ
How much stay
3 week
What is your package.
ZZZ
Did you visit any country before.
I said No.

In explanation i told i am sales manager working with MNC company working and going for visiting head office in USA and discuss and decide upon continuous growth strategy in Indian Market.

finally they hand over paper 214 (b).

now company has plan to send me next month.

do i apply for visa again in one or two week again??

What type ties should i show to convince him.

Can i change reason for visit as "Training" instead discussion.


Please help.

Well, if the nature and circumstances of your answers haven't changed much over last few months then by reapplying you are only taking a chance that if you meet a different officer and if he/she is more lenient you might be approved. The initial VO might not have got convinced based on your less experience which might have been deduced based on your salary. Suggest you to wait for a few months before re applying. This is my opinion not legal advice.

My senior advising me to change purpose of visa as "Training " and reappear for interview along with training schedule will it work actually training date is final as 4th august and it is opportunity for me... please advise.

Hi I attended interview on same date in chennai for b1/b2 visa , you tell them
You are going for 5 days to discuss the business development program and also to meet the potential investor for your company , you tell them you are staying in hotel company paid be confident in what you are saying your face reaction is important and body language also you need to show like you have loans and family etc to establish your ties in India . Whatever you have informed last time will be well noted, so changing to training doest make much difference. Also 3 weeks stay for discussion may have impacted.
You have good chance of approval if there is a significant change in your case (new role, different location, different client, etc) but these does not happen in one month
