I am waiting for my interview date for citizenship and indicated a name change on my N-400. My question is I now want to change it to something else other than what is on my application. Will this be possible during the interview? (Basically I had requested to drop my maiden name and only keep his last name but I am now wanting change my name back to what is on my birth certificate)

Should be possible. Just ask the officer about this during the interview.
