Trying to help pro bono a person with a mental disability. I am not a lawyer.
She lost her naturalization certificate and she doesn't have a copy.
She applied for a replacement (form N-565). RFE came back stating that the name in the application does not match the IRS records. After a closer examination I realized that both the naturalization certificate (in the IRS records) and the N-565 form have wrong names (IRS record has the wrong last name - one vowel difference, and N-565 has the wrong middle name - an extra vowel).
Please help with next steps. Thank you!
