District Court, District of Columbia hold their oath ceremonies one day a month, normally the second Tuesday of every month, next ones - February 12th, March 12th, April 9th and so on..
You are told to report no later than 8:00am. It takes about 2 hours for the court to get you sitting in the order they want and then to check your invite to oath letter, including the questions on the back, your green card and make sure the certificate is correctly worded.
Ceremony starts at 10:00am, lasts about 45 minutes then the court sponsors "reception" - muffins and drinks.
Well organized and a big crowd.
    Notes:
If you have guests do not have them arrive at 8:00am. Tell them to come at 9:45am.
Room 20 (6th floor) Court House on the corner of 3rd and Constitution. Enter off 3rd if you arrive before 8:00am, off Constitution if after 8:00am.

I went to DC fairfax office , located in fairfax but I live in Virginia. I know DC residents have to go to a court ceremony but not those in Virginia. When I was in the office for interview, I heard they have a ceremony every week but not sure what day of the week. Anyway, let me know if you get your Oath letter, thanks for sharing the info.

Well, I did My interview a week before you. My interview was in the afternoon and you have to finish your interview by 11 am to enter same day ceremony. No they did not schedule me same day, I had a positive recommendation and my case is in oath Que., post decision , not sure why is taking so long though?? Hoping to hear from them soon, can not wait for it to be all over.

I tried but the local office is not allowing info pass for follow up currently, that's the message I got. i am still relatively within processing time and within average time , I am just like usual impatient. I hope you hear back from them soon. I expect that you get scheduled for feb 12 ceremony since you have to go to court. Immg processes like usual unpredictable , not consistent, unfair, and makes little sense, that's why I want get all over with soon because it bothers me to think someone could do the interview tomorrow and get the ceremony same day and finish the process while me and many others have to wait longer with no clues for how long and watch many skip us in the line , well, it's what it's, right.

                    For INDtoUSA:

Good, Congratulations in advance for your (INDtoUSA) Oath/Citizenship on August 13, 2013.

All the dates I have for my N-400 process are closer to yours. My interview was on July 16, 2013. No change in online status after the Interview.

I have a question. Is there a name change on your N-400 application?

                    I appreciate your reply..
