Eligibility proof

Hi,

My wife is permanent resident for more than 5 years now. She was out of US for around 11 months for her studies. But her parents& family were in US at that time. She was in US all other time.Can you please let us know if she can apply for naturalization. If so does she have to provide any proof for the 11 months she stayed out?
